Beacon Hill Networking Luncheon
Wednesday March 25th
3201 Beacon Ave. South
Come network with other Beacon Hill and SE SEA business owners and community members tomorrow over lunch. You’ll have the opportunity to make referrals and contacts, and share news about what’s happening on the hill.
We’ll arrive by 11:30 to order lunch and the program will begin by noon. Bring some business cards and be ready to tell us what you’re doing these days. We’ll end by 1 pm, but often the conversations and connections continue past that. Two presenters at this event will lead brief discussions on their topic:
1. Maia Segura and Daimian Lix from Penniless Projects, will describe marketing and branding projects they are leading in southend neighborhoods such as Othello and Mt Baker.
2. A representative from the Friends of Mt Baker Town Center, will talk about the work they are doing to improve an area that is near and dear to us on Beacon Hill.
Note: If you can’t make it tomorrow but are interested in the topic, make sure to attend the Friends of Mt Baker Open House this coming Thursday, 6pm at King’s Hall behind the Mt Baker light rail station.
Our next luncheon is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20th.
Thanks to everyone who turned out at the Oak for our General Membership meeting. It was a great success, and special thanks to Jeff MacIsaac from The Oak for hosting us. Ya’ gotta love those Brussel sprouts!
Also: Save the Date! Saturday, June 27th will be the Beacon Hill Art Walkabout. In the coming days we’ll share information about the ways your business can be involved and to learn about opportunities to submit art or perform, but if you just can’t wait to learn more feel free to send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to get the ball rolling.
