Beacon Boogie celebrates community

Come out for the first Beacon Boogie on Saturday, OCTOBER 29th from 5-10pm with live music, local food and an art opening – all within a half block of Beacon Avenue S. and S. Hanford street!

Five venues, five bands, five bucks! One cover gets you in to all participating venues. Kids 12 and under are free.

Start the evening with chef Jerry Corso’s delectable pizza and a gypsy jazz trio at Bar del Corso from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Then boogie over to one of our other venues to enjoy arange of Cuban son, and folk and jazz. Drop in for a quick hair cut at Abe’s Cuts & Kicks and top it off with a hot drink at Victrola Coffee Roasters. You are also invited to check out the community Day of the Dead altar at Quetzalcoatl Gallery where they will be hosting a reception for the Almendra Sandoval Photography Exhibition.
