Is Saturday’s Jefferson Park Jubilee on your radar? We’ll be there 11am – 9pm with food, music and an impressive list of all-ages activities, live demonstrations and performing arts. Come celebrate the opening of the Mountain Playground and other improvements. Help us congratulate the many dedicated city and community members who helped to create this beautiful landmark. Be there by 11:30am Seattle Kokon Taiko drummers will lead us to the dedication ceremony at noon. Bring your suit for the spray park, your camera to capture the amazing demonstrations by professional skaters and circus artists. Oh, and don’t forget your picnic blanket for the evening concert in the park’s amphitheater starting at 4pm with the Greg Ruby Quartet, Blvd Park, Mango Son and Wayne Horvitz at 8pm with Sweeter Than the Day.
