We have two part time positions open, both with flexible hours and opportunities for growth, for someone(s) with roots in southeast Seattle.

Are you a community-minded project manager who cares about digital equity and the sustainability of our POC/BIPOC, woman and immigrant family-owned businesses? Do you love marketing/communications and have social media management skills?

Beacon Business Alliance (BBA) manages multiple grant-based contracts providing project/program management, community development and outreach services, small business advocacy, fiscal sponsorship services, and virtual informational/networking events. BBA, as part of the Essential Southeast Seattle coalition, serve to lift our BIPOC, woman and immigrant owned small business communities from Beacon Hill to Rainier Beach (that means retail brick and mortar, cultural arts coalitions, independent contractors, innovation hubs, ethnic markets…). We have some exciting programming coming online and need to build capacity—we look forward to hearing from you!

Marketing Manager – 10-15hr/wk
The scope of work for this position is a mix of social media management (60%), program support (30%) and communications/reporting (10%). Programs include our webinar series and other virtual networking events. While we continue to maintain safe practices due to the pandemic, all work will be conducted remotely.

Digital Equity Cohort Project Manager – up to 10 hr/wk
In this new grant-funded position, you will be the primary case manager for cohort business owners selected to receive resources and assistance to establish their e-commerce account on the Essential Southeast Seattle Marketplace’s new platform. You will work remotely with your support team of district managers to reduce the digital divide and build the support network for each cohort business.
